is passionate about his ministry to men and families. As a husband and father of 4, Pastor Rod was reared the youngest of 3 boys by his mother. He is sensitive to the challenges men and women face when it comes to family, life and relationships. A graduate of Virginia Tech, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in finance, Pastor Rod has served with Campus Crusade for Christ (Athletes in Action) from 1990 to 2005.

His diverse ministry has taken him from the campuses of Howard University (Washing- ton, DC) and UCLA (Los Angeles, CA) to The Communication Center (Cary, NC) and Messiah Community Church (Owings Mills, MD), a new church plant, where he now serves as lead pastor. Since 1999 he has served as the team chaplain for the Baltimore Ravens. His experience in Christian Counseling compliments his straight forward, yet compassionate style of ministry. Pastor Rod and his wife Sheri live with their 4 children in Reisterstown, MD.
